Introducing Dental Services in Storrs Center
New Dental Office Open to Community, UConn Students, Faculty, Staff
STORRS, CONN. – The community surrounding the UConn campus in Storrs has a new option for dental care.
UConn Health, which opened medical offices in Storrs Center in December and added an urgent care center in March, is now offering dental services at 1 Royce Circle, Suite 108, Mansfield.
“Our brand-new, modern, state-of-the-art dental office enables us to provide the full scope of comprehensive dental care to the Storrs community, including UConn students, staff and faculty,” says Dr. Steven Lepowsky, chairman of the UConn School of Dental Medicine’s Division of General Dentistry.
Dr. Luis Mirón Cárcamo leads the Storrs Center practice.
“Oral health and preventive dentistry are critical to our overall well-being,” Mirón Cárcamo says. “We have a beautiful new facility in Storrs Center that enables us provide a complete range of dental services to the community.”
Mirón Cárcamo completed residency and fellowship training in general dentistry at the UConn School of Dental Medicine, and also has worked in private practice. He speaks English and Spanish.
The Storrs Center dental office offers evening and Saturday hours. Its initial schedule, which is subject to future adjustment to better serve patient demand, is as follows:
Monday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, closed
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon
